At Schools Today, our expert team collaborates with driven, forward-thinking educational leaders to transform the support of mental health and wellbeing in schools.
Our mission is to ensure that future generations are as confident in looking after their mental health as their physical health.
Empowering schools to understand mental health, prioritise wellbeing and access the right emotional support is key to this cultural transformation.
Our expert team has a variety of educational and mental health specialisms and we create tailored solutions for each school.
Our first step is to educate. We provide dynamic, bespoke workshops and training to the whole school community in order to build knowledge and confidence and to enhance pastoral leadership.
Our second is to respond. When mental health crises do arise, we help schools to respond swiftly and effectively by providing therapeutic support and counselling to members of their community.
The work we do has a powerful impact on school life. Educating and supporting students helps to create a resilient, open-minded community with excellent self-awareness. This prepares them for the emotional challenges at school and beyond.
Our family work nurtures a deep rooted approach to supporting students and their carers. Through workshops and - where required - family therapy, we empower families to support themselves and their children from within the home.
All of this, in addition to the specialist pastoral training we offer staff, means that staff are able to focus on the important job they set out to do - teaching.
We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Schools Today. With their expert help, we have delivered high-quality workshops including a transition day for lower 6th to prepare them for summer and upper 6th and a leavers' programme for upper 6th to transition beyond school. The content was highly informative and relevant, promoting high levels of pupil engagement across a range of subjects including healthy relationships, independent living, personal values, and mental health & well-being. The team consulted us throughout the process, ensuring they fully understood our requirements, and they also provided expert delivery of many of the workshops. Thank you again, your expertise has helped us to greatly improve PSHE provision in the Sixth Form.

Seeing the inevitable impact that the COVID virus would have on the school community we wanted to ensure that we managed the mental health of the staff and pupils as best as we could. Partnering with Schools Today has meant that we have a roadmap for the years ahead as we continue to develop our provision for staff, pupils and eventually parents.
